Artpiha Oy carries out playground installations as a complete package, from groundwork to play equipment and safety surfacing. We serve housing associations, municipalities, cities and daycare centres along the Hämeenlinna–Tampere–Helsinki–Lahti axis.
A safe playground is the heart of every quality yard area. We install play equipment carefully, in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions and EU safety standards. Correctly installed swings, slides and climbing structures withstand enthusiastic use year after year.
A durable playground is built on careful groundwork
The foundation of a functional playground is laid before a single piece of equipment is even installed. Carefully done groundwork ensures that structures stay firmly in place and the playground remains safe for a long time. We have extensive experience building play areas, including groundwork, and we follow the individual installation instructions for every piece of equipment precisely.
Before being put into use, the safety of every playground we build is inspected by a certified, independent playground equipment inspector.
Safety surfacing – a soft landing in every situation
In addition to play equipment, safety surfacing is a critical part of playground safety. We install safety surfacing that cushions falls and landings from jumps to the level required by safety standards. The surfacing material is always chosen according to the site's plans and intended use.
Currently, one of the most popular materials is wood-based safety chip. It gives way when falling or jumping onto the surface, and its natural appearance suits a wide range of yard environments.

Playground construction as part of a larger yard project
A playground is rarely a stand-alone element — it's usually part of the wider yard environment. In addition to play areas, Artpiha carries out all other areas of yard construction, such as stonework, green construction and earthworks. This means the yard environment is completed smoothly and according to plan by a single, reliable partner.
